A beautiful and very rare andesite opal cabochon. This particularly rare andesite opal has a natural colored matrix rock. With a pretty stone-gray to red-brown marbling. The black, white opal sparkles over a wide area between the matrix rock. It is criss-crossed by a broad, glittering layer of fragments that shines in all the colors of the rainbow. The intense colors alternate shimmering in the light and give this gemstone a special aura.
This cabochon is handcrafted and polished smooth. On request, this piece of jewelry can be made into a gemstone pendant by us. Our opals from Honduras are Fair Trade (FTMG).
